Nestled in the beautiful rural countryside of Somerset, Dovecote School is an independent special school catering to students aged 5–18 who face barriers such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges, and more. Since opening in September 2022, we’ve been on a mission to provide a fresh start for students who deserve a brighter future.

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re searching for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or has extensive tutoring experience.
• Has a passion for teaching students with complex needs and thrives on seeing progress—no matter how small!
• Is skilled at creating dynamic, engaging lessons that cater to varied learning styles.
• Brings positivity, patience, and energy to the classroom.
• Has knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures.
