About the Role:

As our Maths Lead, you will:

  • Develop and deliver an innovative and engaging maths curriculum for KS3 and KS4, ensuring accessibility for all students.
  • Support and inspire students with autism, PDA, trauma, and SEMH needs, adapting teaching methods to help them succeed.
  • Lead and mentor teaching staff, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
  • Shape the future of maths education within the school by implementing accredited numeracy qualifications and mapping maths across the broader curriculum.
  • Champion student progress, using assessment data to personalise learning pathways.
  • Engage with the wider community, collaborating with external professionals to enrich students’ learning experiences.

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with experience in special education.
  • A passionate leader who believes in making maths accessible and engaging for all learners.
  • Someone who can drive curriculum innovation and support a whole-school approach to numeracy.
